Mike Margherio is the father of 8 kiddos, one who lived only 12 hours. After Joey's death, Mike and his wife Diane had to concentrate on Joey's twin's health, and Jimmy is now 15 years old. But Joey is just as real and present as Jimmy. Mike was recruited to Share by a mutual friend of Cathi Lammert's (Share Executive Director), and he has honored Joey's memory by serving on the Share board, most recently for about 2 years, and earlier for about 3-4 years. He is always in awe of Cathi's vision and commitment as well as her seemingly tireless efforts on behalf of Share. It is his privilege to be a part of Share and this dedicated board.

Mike has worked as an attorney for the past 30 years.

“The life of a man consists not in seeing visions and in dreaming dreams, but in active charity and in willing service.”

~Henry Wadsworth Longfellow~

Joan Rosenbaum, MD was born and raised in Chicago, IL.  In medical school, she was drawn to pediatrics as she loved working with children, talking with their parents, and establishing close relationships. On her first rotation through the NICU, Joan had found her home. She loves working in the organized chaos of the NICU and is challenged by caring for the sickest infants as well as advocating for babies and their families at the end of life, and those who will continue to face complex life-limiting and life-challenging diseases.

Joan has been a clinician-educator at Washington University School of Medicine for her entire career. She has two children.  Her older son lives and works as a producer New York, and spends his summers as associate producer of the MUNY theater in St. Louis, MO. Her younger son plays goalie for the USAFA, and hopes to be a goalie in the NHL, before beginning a career in law.  Her hobbies include cooking, hiking, and poetry.

Megan Rowekamp, CPA, is the Director of Financial Reporting at Life Time Fitness, Inc. in Minneapolis, MN.  Prior to joining Life Time in 2001, Megan started her career in public accounting with Arthur Andersen.  An Iowa native, Megan received her BA in accounting and economics from Luther College in Decorah, IA.

Megan and her husband Jason lost their full-term son Charley unexpectedly during birth in 2007. Megan is honored to serve on the Share board in Charley’s memory.  An old Jewish proverb says that a person can die two deaths -- the first when your physical body dies, and the second when people stop mentioning your name.  Share ensures that Charley, and babies like him, never die that second death.

Megan and Jason live in rural Wisconsin with their two living children, Owen and Anna and with two demanding pugs, Bella and Badger.
