Melanie and her husband, Tom, live in St. Charles, Missouri, with their four-year-old son, Charlie.  Melanie and Tom became associated with Share through their best friends, who have been touched by Share since their daughter, Olivia Mae, was born sleeping in October 2003.  Share's mission is close to Melanie's heart because she lost her nephew, Conner Michael, at a very young age and, because of her struggles with infertility, she understands the miraculousness and significance of each and every life--no matter how short.

Gary Wellman is an IT Director for The Outsource Group where he manages a data integration team. He was previously with EDS/HP for 17 years as a Program Manager and Delivery Lead.  Gary is a graduate of Western Illinois University with a B.S. in Computer Science. Gary is originally from Quincy, IL; but currently lives in St. Charles, MO with his wife Melissa and his five living children.

Gary and Melissa were introduced to Share in 2002 due to the death of their son, Garrett. At that time, they received a wealth of support from Share and its extended family. Since that time, they have both volunteered for or helped organize many of the Share events. It’s because of Share they both found hope and healing, and it’s because of Garrett that they continue to give back to Share and others who need their support. Gary joined the Share Board of Directors in 2008.

Matt uses his extensive litigation experience to advocate for clients in a wide range of complex commercial and business litigation, including shareholder derivative actions, antitrust claims, appeals, mediation, arbitration, partnership disputes, class actions, contract disputes, insurance coverage disputes, product liability claims, and fiduciary litigation. His clients range from start-up companies, to closely-held and family-owned businesses of every size, to publicly traded companies.

Matt serves on the Board of Directors for Legal Services of Eastern Missouri, and is a team captain for VISON, his firm’s community volunteering program.  Matt also was a member of FOCUS St. Louis’ Leadership St. Louis Class of 2010-11.

Before joining Polsinelli Shughart, Matt worked as a staff attorney at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.  Prior to law school, Matt studied classical languages and philosophy at Xavier University.  Matt and his wife Monica spend most of their free time chasing around their three-year old daughter.
Mike Margherio is the father of 8 kiddos, one who lived only 12 hours. After Joey's death, Mike and his wife Diane had to concentrate on Joey's twin's health, and Jimmy is now 15 years old. But Joey is just as real and present as Jimmy. Mike was recruited to Share by a mutual friend of Cathi Lammert's (Share Executive Director), and he has honored Joey's memory by serving on the Share board, most recently for about 2 years, and earlier for about 3-4 years. He is always in awe of Cathi's vision and commitment as well as her seemingly tireless efforts on behalf of Share. It is his privilege to be a part of Share and this dedicated board.

Mike has worked as an attorney for the past 30 years.

Megan is honored to serve on the Share board in Charley’s memory.  An old Jewish proverb says that a person can die two deaths -- the first when your physical body dies, and the second when people stop mentioning your name.  Share ensures that Charley, and babies like him, never die that second death.

Megan and Jason live in rural Wisconsin with their two living children, Owen and Anna and with two demanding pugs, Bella and Badger.
