Angel of Hope
Share of NELA is bringing the Angel of Hope to Northeast Louisiana.  This beautiful statue that was introduced to the world by Richard Paul Evan’s inspiring book and tv movie, The Christmas Box, has been a place of healing and hope to thousands of bereaved parents.  Our angel will be placed in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun, Louisiana thanks to the generosity of the Fortenberry Family.  She will be surrounded by beautiful gardens and memorial bricks. Please help us make this dream come true by donating today.  Call Colleen Howard at 318-644-5216 for more information, including the purchase of a memorial brick, or donate today using Pay Pal.
Share of Northeast Louisiana Pregnancy and Infant Loss Support, Inc. is a local chapter of National Share and has been supporting bereaved parents and families in Northeast Louisiana for the past ten years.  If your life has been touched by the loss of a baby due to miscarriage, stillbirth, newborn death or during the first few months of life, you will find support and resources to help you during this difficult time.

Support Group Meetings
Share of NELA holds meetings on the second and fourth Monday of each month at the Children’s Coalition for Northeast Louisiana, 1363 Louisville Avenue, Monroe, LA.  Meetings begin at 6PM.   Parents, grandparents, friends and family (excluding children), are invited to attend.  Others who have experienced the heartbreaking death of a baby share their experiences and journey to healing one of life’s most devastating losses.
