5 Things to Know About the Share Walk

Share Pregnancy & Infant Loss Support is hosting the 25th Annual Walk for Remembrance & Hope on Saturday, October 17, 2026. We would love for you to join us as we walk in memory of our babies.

Each year, thousands of people will gather at Frontier Park in St. Charles, MO to walk in memory of a loved baby who died during pregnancy, at birth, or in infancy. This annual event allows families who have experienced the loss of their baby an opportunity to openly acknowledge and remember them among family, friends, loved ones and the Share bereavement community. This event also allows families to take the steps their precious children will never get to take. Families are welcome to bring flowers to place at the base of the Baby Memorial Wall where babies’ names will be printed.

Virtual Walkers: Unable to attend? Gather your friends and family to walk virtually! We have families all over the country walking with us and sharing pictures, stories, and memories on social media.  

Children 5 and under are not required to register. You may register them if you would like to receive a t-shirt for them. We have 6 months to 5T sizes available. Please note that Infant/toddler shirts are only available until August 20th.

Registration Opens on July 1, 2026. Virtual Registration will include a small shipping fee so we can ship your t-shirts prior to the event.

5 THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT THE WALK

1. Baby Names are on the T-shirt

Due to the growth of the Share Walk over the years, we are not able to print all of the baby’s names on the back of one Walk T-Shirt. T-Shirts will be divide the babies' names alphabetically into two groups. You will receive the t-shirt design that includes your baby's name based on the information provided on the registration form. If you are walking in memory of more than one baby with different last names, please contact Emily Swain at eswain@nationalshare.org to confirm that your babies' names are printed together.

2. Baby Name Memorial Wall

We know how much it means to see your baby's name in print, and that is why each year, we create a large memorial wall displaying the names of each baby being remembered at the Walk. It is a beloved tradition for families, who often take photos in front of their loved one's name, or leave a flower at the base of the wall before or after the ceremony. To have your baby's name included in the Memorial Wall, please be sure to submit their name/s before August 30th. For printing purposes, the Baby Name Memorial Wall can only include the names submitted by August 30th. We hope this memorial will be a special part of the Walk experience for your family.

3. Accuracy Check of Baby Names

We want this to be perfect: it is our desire to eliminate any potential errors on the Baby Name Memorial Wall and the t-shirt. To ensure accuracy, we will post the list of baby names, received by the August 30th deadline, on our website August 31st. Please visit the website to be sure your baby name is included, and to check the accuracy of the spelling of your baby's/ies' name. Please email Emily Swain (eswain@nationalshare.org) with any necessary corrections.  Please know that ANY CHANGES OR CORRECTIONS must be received by September 1st.

4. August 30th Registration Deadline

If you register after August 30th:

• We will be unable to add your baby's name to the Memorial Wall or Walk T-Shirt (this is due to our printing company's policies)
• We can still read your baby's name. Please visit the Baby Name Tent the day of the Walk to ensure your baby(ies) name(s) will be read during the ceremony
• You will be able to order additional merchandise only on the day of the Walk or at T-Shirt Pick Up (please come early as merchandise is sold on a first come, first-served basis)

5. T-Shirt Pick-Up

Walk T-Shirt Pick-Up will be held at the National Share Office: please note we are in a new Suite this year!

If you are unable to pick up your shirts on these dates, please request "shipping" on your registration or email Emily Swain at eswain@nationalshare.org

Please Note: Team Shirts will be bundled together, and Team Captains will pick them up at the Share office unless otherwise arranged.
