Share Walk for Remembrance & Hope
October 17, 2026 at Frontier Park in St. Charles, MO
What is the Share Walk of Remembrance & Hope?
The Share Walk is an annual event for families and friends who have experienced the profound loss of a baby. The Walk is attended by thousands of people who walk together in memory of their baby or babies who have died, and offers a shared space for grief, connection, and healing. It is a cherished experience for many families, both in St. Charles and around the country. Each step that is taken honors and celebrates the life of your loved ones, while allowing quiet moments for reflection and remembrance.
What can I expect the day of the Walk?
At the Share Walk, there will be a ceremony that includes a message of hope, a memorial service, the reading of baby names, and a beautiful release of doves before we walk together as a community. Before the ceremony, families will be able to mingle, enjoy coffee and food trucks, visit with Comfort Dogs, write messages of love at our Notes of Hope station, and see their baby's name on our Memorial Wall. Siblings can enjoy face painting and memorial crafts at the Creation Station tent.
Registration will open at 8am on the day of the Walk, Creation Station will open at 9am, and the ceremony will follow at 10am. Once the ceremony concludes, families can enjoy a community Walk on the Katy trail and around Frontier Park.
Each registrant will receive a 2026 Walk T-Shirt. The shirt will feature our 2026 Share Walk Logo, designed by local artist Rachel Swain, on the front with each baby's name on the back. This year, bereaved parents' shirts will be indigo blue, family and friends' shirts will be white.
Why are Parent T-Shirts a different color?
We think the different colored shirts are a powerful image and represent an important message: that parents are not alone in their loss, and that they are surrounded by people who love and support them and miss their baby, too.
What is a Walk Team and How Do I Create One?
Many choose to Walk with their friends and families. For groups with multiple different households, we recommend creating a Walk Team. On the registration page, team supporters can join a team by crediting their registration to a fundraising page. Team captains will pick up their team's Walk T-Shirts on T-Shirt Pick Up Day at the National Share Office. The Team Captain who raises the most funds, through registrations and donations, will receive 2 Tickets to Share's 50th Angel Ball Celebration on Sunday, April 11, 2026. Each year, Show Me Doves are happy to provide a beautiful dove release to conclude our service as we remember our babies. We are so grateful for their kindness. We hope the Dove Release brings you feelings of peace, calmness, and connection.
Notes of Hope
The Notes of Hope is a special place for people to write messages of love for their babies or messages of hope for families who miss their babies. The Notes of Hope are located near the Memorial Wall, and are available before and after the ceremony.
Walk Orders and T-Shirts may be picked up at the National Share Office on T-Shirt Pick Up Days Sunday, October 11 from 12-4pm & Monday, October 12 from 9am-6pm. Team Orders will be bundled together and available for Team Captains at Pick Up.
Together, we walk for love. We walk to remember.
We walk to honor the ones who left these footprints on our hearts.
